Are you looking for holiday apartments on Costa del Sol? Stop looking and contact us instead! Costa del Sol is famous for its lovely climate and beautiful beaches. This region of Andalusia has something for everyone, even if you are one of the few that do not like sandy beaches and nightlife.

The Golden Mile: From Marbella to Benahavis

The Costa del Sol is one of Spain’s most attractive holiday destinations. Marbella and its Golden Mile are world-famous, as are Puerto Banus, Nikki Beach and legendary hotels such as the Marbella Club and the Puente Romano. Benahavis only used to be a small village, mainly known because of its many small restaurants. Today Benahavis is much more than that. It is home to many of the best golf courses in Spain and also the area where most new luxury real estate developments are built.

Marbella

Marbella is popular with the rich and famous, but at the same time affordable for most people. With 26 kilometres of sandy beaches, this is a place for relaxing on sun loungers and enjoying the sea, or the pool, all day long. In the evenings, you can discover Spanish gastronomy at a local restaurant or just enjoy quiet and pleasant warm evenings on the terrace of your apartment at Quartiers Marbella.

Weather

Costa del Sol, the sun coast, is the right name for this coast as it has the best climate in Spain, perhaps even in Europe. With over 320 sunny days a year, and small amounts of rain, sunshine is almost always guaranteed, no matter what time of the year you decide to visit.

The summer months are hot and dry in southern Spain, with day temperatures of over 30 degrees in July and August. Evening temperatures rarely go below 21 degrees in summer. Spring and autumn months in Marbella are almost like summer in the rest of Europe, with an average daily temperature of 22 degrees.

Winters are usually also sunny and pleasant. The average temperature in Benahavis is around 17 degrees in December. Who can beat that, except the Caribbean or Thailand? But then you have to fly to the other side of the globe.

Malaga Airport and transport

Direct flights depart from most of the major airports in Europe to Malaga all year round. The flight takes 2-4 hours, depending on where you fly from. The international airport in Malaga is called Pablo Ruíz Picasso. The airport has a wide choice of shops, bars, restaurants, cafes and duty-free shops. Car rental service and public transport to most cities along the Costa del Sol, by bus and train, are available at the spot when you arrive.

Costa del Golf

Although almost any sport can be practiced on the Costa del Sol, golf is king. There are countless top-rated golf courses in the area, the largest concentration in the world. These are designed by legendary golf players such as Severiano Ballesteros, Robert Trent Jones, Gary Player and Tony Jacklin. When you stay with us you can enjoy one of our golf packages.

Water Sports

With its long coastline, warm weather and over 320 days of sunshine a year, the Costa del Sol is also a place for water sports. The beaches are well maintained and very safe. As a tourist you can rent water skis, scuba equipment, jet skis and motorboats.

You can also go on excursions to watch dolphins and whales at sea.

Horse Riding

Horse riding is an ancient Andalusian tradition and art. The Andalusian horses are very appreciated. You can rent horses and go for a ride in the Spanish countryside. HORSE RIDING CENTRES CLOSE TO QUARTIERS APARTMENTS: Click HERE!

Amusement parks, panoramic views and Bioparc Fuengirola Zoo

Tivoli World Amusement Park in Benalmadena offers rides and live shows, including flamenco dancing and wild west shows. Benalmadena Cable Car offers tours to the summit of Monte Calamorro, from where you have a magical view of the Costa del Sol, Sierra Nevada, Gibraltar and the North African coast. The zoo Bioparc in Fuengirola stands out for its work to promote the conservation of threatened species. You can observe animals in exceptional environments that truly recreate their natural habitats.

Spanish Fairs & Festivals

Almost all communities in Andalusia have their festival. Over 3000 festivities take place in the region every year. They include everything from religious events and dance festivals to wine and food festivals. One of the most famous is the Feria de Abril in Seville, which takes place during the second half of April. The yearly festival in Marbella takes place at the beginning of June. Marbella Starlite Festival is also an important event every summer, attracting artists and visitors from all the world.
