The particular Gastronomic culture of Benahavis Town, located in the Sierra de las Nieves in Southern Spain, is a good example of traditional Mediterranean cuisine. La Sarten de Benahavis is open every day from 1:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m, and from 8:00 p.m to 12:00 p.m. It is closed on Mondays.

Bodeguita el Chico

Bodeguita el Chico is a classic stop in Benahavís. It is the smallest bar in town, and you might have to wait outside for a table. They serve excellent tapas, as well as hot and cold dishes to share. Bodeguita El Chico is a great place to enjoy tapas of Serrano ham, chorizo, pork loin and Spanish Manchego cheese. The bar is also famous for its special Gin & Tonics, they are huge!

Restaurante Eugenio Las Cañas

Eugenio Las Cañas is another of the classic restaurants in Benahavis. It first opened in 1976. They serve traditional Spanish dishes as well as Mediterranean cuisine and international food. Among its specialities are baked lamb, suckling pig, oxtail stew, Iberian pork ossobuco and marinated Iberian pork loin, as well as fish and seafood like sea bass, squid and grilled shrimps. They also offer vegan and vegetarian dishes
